My Story Continues
During my early childhood I began to draw before talking. My speech was delayed due to my disability, and I communicated with my drawings, according to my mother. I believe I used to draw things I love, cherish and wish for which made me happy and vibrant whether in imaginary or real world.
Now my artworks are centered around paintings of dogs or pets and nature. As dogs are adored by many people, this deep attachment caught my interest, so I began to portray dogs. With my paintings, I seek to bring out a sense of healing, happiness and love in viewers' hearts. I also have moments of healing as I stroll nearby parks or beaches to capture images of delighted and playful dogs accompanied by their owners.
Also capturing precious places while traveling is very delightful as well. I often find myself standing in awe and peace in the midst of God's creation. My hope is for viewers to reminisce or relax in the peaceful scenery with me.
In my artworks, I use my own photographs in expressive and representational ways. I carefully vary small details with changes in forms, lines and colors; the backgrounds are simple with a hint of abstraction. When my subjects are depicted in my own distinctive way, I hope to harmonize my subjects with their surroundings.
